Ears and Hats and Heads.... Oh My!!

Day 1 of Recovery.

Money spent on craft supplies: o

Ok, it's day one so I'm starting at the the bottom. Last night I decided to start working with some Lion Brand Holiday Homespun from my stash to make a few Christmas mice.

I made one of these for my boss (a fellow craft addict):


He was so cute that I got orders for 5 more! Granted I'm only getting paid for one of them.... but the other 4 are going to be gifts for some pretty exceptional people.

Right now I'm crocheting them 2 at a time, which gives me an amusing bunch of body parts.


Hopefully I'll finish these guys up soon. I might even use up an entire skein of the white Holiday Homespun (Starlight)!

Admitting you have a problem is always the first step.

Last night I took a good long look around my house and found:

YIKES!!!! The grand total is 10 bags full of yarn....from the last month! That's not counting the stash that has taken over my closet and the stack of full boxes in my bedroom.

Time to take some action.

So here are the goals:

1. I will craft more this year, because if you can't use up craft supplies if you aren't crafting.

2. I will sell more crafts this year. I'm not going to keep storing them in my house. :)

3. I will only buy craft supplies from money that I make from selling crafts. (This will be the hard part O_o)
